If you had been in my class, I just would have been your best friend. I would’ve loved you with all my heart, and I’d never ever have let anybody hurt you as Sebastian did.

 :<

This scene killed me inside when I first saw it.  First Sherlock introduced John as a ‘friend’ and John quickly corrected Sherlock and said “colleague” instead, which obviously stung a bit for Sherlock.  Then Sebastian was an utter asshole.  Like Sherlock needs to be reminded that he is pretty much unbearable to be around.

I can relate a lot to Sherlock.

Maybe that’s why I love him so much.

Because it’s nice when people like a character who is a lot like you in many ways.

Because it’s like, if he can be accepted and loved, maybe I can too.

SHERLOCK DON’T GIVE A FUCK

he’s basically a high functioning sociopath

obviously sociopaths don’t have FEELINGS

(really though i just saw this gif and got upset that i was reminded that i have to wait for more episodes.)

*cries* come here i want to hug all of you

only a few more months!!

What is it? Only 3 seconds? That shot is amazing though.

MY HEART BROKE WHEN THIS HAPPENED.

I think he introduced John as a friend mainly to stick it to Sebastian, but John says “colleague”, and then Sebastian goes on to be a dick and brings back unwanted memories.

GOD DAMMIT, JOHN.

I also get slightly annoyed when people say that he doesn’t have feelings because he calls himself a sociopath. It may not be obvious, but he’s shown happiness, worry, frustration, sadness and anger throughout the show.

I think that he just used the whole “sociopath” thing because he was so used to everybody else disliking him and hurting him, and so after time he kind of put himself in this protective bubble where it wouldn’t bother him anymore. When people hate you for who you are, you have to learn to ignore it.

^ This. This all the way across the sky.

Sherlock is not a sociopath.

If you know anything about psychology, the behavior he exhibits does not suggest he’s sociopathic. I do think he may have something, but I don’t know psychology well enough to put my finger on it.

But he’s definitely not a sociopath.

And don’t bring up the fact that he said he was, because you have to keep in mind that this is the same guy who pickpockets Lestrade when he’s bored and uses his ID badge to pass as a police officer. HE KNOWS HOW TO LIE.

^ That. And to the post before that, “sociopath”, by the way, does not mean you don’t have feelings. One of the symptoms is that you don’t have a CONSCIENCE. That’s two different things. It is actually somewhat possible that he is one, as a lot of the DSM symptoms certainly fit him, but given all the things we DON’T know about him, it’s just as likely as the theory that he has asperger’s, or schizoid personality.

Is TV Too Gay?

First post in a very long time, sorry about that. But yeah, here’s the first thing I saw in my dash today. Enjoy.

Via what on earth do you mean by a bunburyist?

Steven Moffat’s writing - sexist? Meh.

I love Electra and I enjoy Leighton. I gotta be honest though, I’m not crazy about this.

Rowling also stated that there was a real moral cowardice in Draco, but that he was not wholly bad. Rowling also revealed that Draco liked boys, and developed a crush on Harry.

Love Your Rebellion: I just don't know how I feel about a man dressed as a woman.

I just don’t know.

I know how I feel. Upset. It goes against basic gender roles.

A man stops being a man because of a piece of cloth? It’s thoughts like this that make it hard for people to enjoy their time here, to enjoy and take part…

Why do you need to have an opinion about it? If a guy wants to wear a dress it’s his business and his decision.

Respect that.

“Basic gender roles”? Because gender roles are meant to be followed by everyone? Listen, honey, if we didn’t violate “basic gender roles”, women would still be unable to own property, vote, wear pants, or work. Face it, gender roles have less and less meaning every year.

Many people, meeting Aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was English, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide.

- Good Omens : Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

I love it when he’s portrayed as a cute nerd. I mean, in all probability, he’s not nearly this adorable in canon. But whatever.

Sometimes you can’t read too much into things or you get into trouble.
